*** Refunds ***

Once classes have started there will be no refunds unless accompanied by a doctor's note.

No refunds will be given once the swim session has concluded; regardless if accompanied by a doctor's note. NO Exceptions!

There is a $10.00 charge for switching classes.

Pro-rates are not given.

Once the student has registered for group lessons they cannot switch into private and/or semi private lessons. Clients must wait until the session is over.
*** Make-Up Classes ***

Only one make-up class allowed per session.

If the student misses their make-up class another class will not be offered.

The make-up class will be given only during the current swim session.

Swim lesson make-up requests will not be taken the last week of the swim session.

Once the swim session has ended make-up requests will not be accepted.

NJ State law requires SPF to close the pool during electrical storms.

SPF reserves the right to change instructors without notice.

Classed cancelled due to inclement weather will be made up.

Photography of children other than yours is prohibited.

Registration will not be accepted after the first class has run.

Food and/ or drinks is prohibited in the pool area.
Minimum class size is 2 students. If class size is smaller the class time will move to 30 minutes and will only be 5 classes held for that session.
Class Descriptions and Schedule
Aqua Tots - This class is designed for children 6 to 35 months. The water orientation and water adjustment class provides both parent and child an opportunity to be safe, comfortable, and relaxed in the water. This class will promote children into a more structured class format. Children will be starting to learn their bubbles, kicks, and arms. Only one child per parent.
Maximum enrollment: 8 children. Class time: 30 minutes.
Equipment required: Lil Swimmer Diapers.

Pre-School Beginner - This class is designed for children ages 3 to 4 who are uncomfortable in the water. Class will cover water adjustment, blowing bubbles, floating with support, kicking, arm movement on the front, getting face wet & beginning to jump in. Patents do not go in the water.
Maximum enrollment: 5 children. Class time: 30 minutes.

Pre-school Advanced - This class is designed for children 3 to 4 years of age who are comfortable in the water. Class emphasizes independence and forward movement in the water by practicing arm movement, floating, kicking, blowing bubbles with face in the water, and jumping in to the pool.
Maximum enrollment: 5 children. Class time: 30 minutes.

Level 1 - Designed for the beginning swimmer who is
4 - 7 and 8 - 10 years old. Skills include front and back floats,
front craw, elementary backstroke, back
crawl, basic safety rules and jumping in. Swimming a combined
stroke on front and back for a minimum of 15 yards without use
of flotation device is required to proceed to the next level.
Maximum enrollment: 6 children. Class time:
45 minutes.

Level 2 - Designed for the child who can swim a combined stroke on front and back for a minimum of 25 yards. Skills include refinement of front craw, rotary breathing, elementary backstroke, back crawl, swimming underwater, treading water, survival floats and safety skills.

Level 3 - Designed for the child who can swim front crawl, backstroke, elementary backstroke, and is comfortable in deep water. There is lap swimming for endurance, introduction of breaststroke and butterfly, intro to side stroke. Basic water safety techniques are also given. Must swim at least 50 yards of each stroke to move onto the next level.

Level 4/5 - For the child who
can swim 25 - 50 yards of all strokes. Skills include
butterfly & sidestroke refinement, endurance swimming,
improving starts & turns, water safety & rescue techniques.
Strokes are improved upon during multiple lap swims.

Pre-Competition - Try Out is
required to register.
The clinic is designed for competitive swimmers who can swim at
least swim 3-4 laps of the following strokes: freestyle,
backstroke, and breaststroke continuously to make this clinic.
Some butterfly experience is preferred. Student will practice and
build on their endurance, speed, and stroke technique.

Adult Beginner - No previous swimming experience needed. Designed to comfortably overcome fear of water.

Private Swim Lessons
Private lessons are great for children and adults starting at 5 years of age. Private lessons are worked around your preferences. They are sold in sets of 5, each lesson being 30 minutes ($150.00). Semi-privates are sold in sets of 5, each lesson being 45 minutes ($250.00). Both participants MUST be the same skill level.
State law requires us to close our pool during lightning
storms. Missed classes will be made up at the end of the
session
